Raw Food Diet Candida

Candida is a type of yeast that is present in every body but doesn't cause any health issue unless it starts proliferating beyond a certain limit. This can be caused due to various reasons and some of these include birth control pills, antibiotics, digestive dysfunction, immune imbalance, etc. It has been found out by the health professionals that making adjustments in your diet can work wonders in treatment of Candida. It is advised by them to avoid excessive sugar laden food and high carbohydrate rich food so as to lower the effect of Candida. One thing important to make clear is that these foods are not the reason for development of these health issues but avoiding these food items decreases the chances of its growth.

It is accepted by many health professionals that having a raw food diet can help you treat yourself from Candida disease. However, there are many controversies regarding this among the dietitians all around the globe. Most of them agree that raw food is helpful in treating Candida but then there is a disagreement among them regarding the best raw food that would help them to treat the problem in a better way. Some doctors believe that a high sugar diet can be a reason for development of Candida. They advise a low glycemic diet and avoid fresh fruits in the initial stage. Here it is believed that intake of fruits may lead to occurrence of Candida but some other health professionals feel that the effect is rather due to the fat innate and not due to fruits. Restrict your intake of fat to an acceptable limit and avoid fatty food materials.

Fats are seen to clock the activity of the insulin receptors and thus decreases the functionality of the insulin hormone in the body. Even though the insulin level is to the required limit, the reduced sensitivity to it may lead to reduced effect of insulin. As an effect of this sugar in your blood streams are not able to get converted or burnt on time and it remains in the blood stream for a longer period of time. Further, this leads to development and overgrowth of the yeast causing Candida.
